Frequently Asked Questions
Q - How does Senior Transitioning Services charge for its services?
A - All situations and needs are unique. STS will meet with the appropriate people involved to determine just what those needs are, and what benefit STS can serve. At that time STS will submit a written fee to be agreed upon by both parties.
Q - Is there a charge for this?
A - There is no obligation for the first meeting and determining what role STS will be contributing.
Q - Is there anything that STS will not handle through the process?
A - Senior Transitioning Services does not handle money or financial decisions, legal issues, or do any type of health care.
Q - Can the family do any of the work themselves?
A - Absolutely. STS will do as little or as much as needed.
Q - What if I live out of State and I'm trying to manage this from far away?
A - This is a common occurance and one of the main reasons STS became a company. You will be kept up to date on each step by phone, email and digital photography. We will also be coordinating each step with other care professionals and administrators and you will be very involved in the entire process.
Q - What area do you cover?
A - Mainly Linn and Johnson counties, but there may be special circumstances that would require us to go outside this area.
